CARTERS ROAD PICNIC AREA

Public BBQ

This scenic picnic area sits beautifully at the base of Mt Buller, where crystal-clear water flows through creating perfect spots for a refreshing dip on hot summer days. The well-maintained facilities include barbecue areas, picnic tables, clean toilets, and ample parking space. It's an ideal basecamp for the 3.5-kilometre bushwalk to Plain Creek waterfall, though the track can be challenging. Families love the spacious camping areas where children can run freely while parents spot local wildlife. The peaceful riverside setting offers both adventure and tranquillity, making it perfect for day trips or extended stays.
